Day 1: Arrival in Tangier

You will arrive in Tangier, a port city in northern Morocco, rich in culture and history. Upon arrival, our team will hold a full briefing to give you all the important information about your Royal Enfield tour through Morocco.

Once you have picked up your Royal Enfield motorcycle, we will take you for a ride through the city of Tangier to allow you to discover the main tourist sites, while getting familiar with your motorcycle. We will ride together through the lively streets of the city, passing by the kasbah, the souks, the different viewpoints and the beaches of the city. This ride will also be an opportunity to taste local culinary specialties in traditional restaurants.

After the tour, you can check into your room at the Fairmont Hotel, a luxury hotel located on the coast of Tangier, which offers a breathtaking view of the ocean. You can relax in the hotel’s facilities, including the pool, spa and gym. All in all, this first day will be an opportunity to discover the city of Tangier, familiarize yourself with your Royal Enfield motorcycle and relax in the comfort of the Fairmont Hotel, enjoying the ocean view, tasting fine local dishes and discovering local wines.

Day 2: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen (120 km)

After a night’s rest at the Fairmont, you will start your second day of the raid by driving to Chefchaouen. First, you will make a stop in Tetouan, a city known for its Andalusian architecture and its rich cultural history. You will be able to stroll through the lively streets to discover the local atmosphere. You will then drive to Chefchaouen, also known as the « blue city », located at the foot of the Rif mountain range.

Once in Chefchaouen, you will spend the night at Dar Jasmyn, a charming guesthouse with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. During this day, you will ride your Royal Enfield for approximately 120 km, enjoying the beauty of the Moroccan landscape while discovering charming towns. Dar Jasmyn will also allow you to immerse yourself in the Moroccan culture, thanks to its traditional decoration and its delicious local cuisine.

All in all, this second day of the Royal Enfield raid will take you 120 km through the roads of Morocco, with stops in Tetouan and Chefchaouen to discover the history and culture of these fascinating cities, before resting at Dar Jasmyn for a well-deserved night.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Roslane Castle (130 km)

After a night’s rest in Dar Jasmyn, you will drive to Chateau Roslane, a luxury vineyard and guesthouse nestled in the mountains. You will enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Rif while riding your Royal Enfield for approximately 130 km.

Day 4: Château Roslane – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez (240 km)

You will leave from Roslane Castle to reach the imperial city of Meknes, located about 2 hours away. Here you can admire the city’s rich architecture and history, including the famous Bab El-Mansour Gate, El Hedim Square and the Moulay Ismail Mosque. You will then drive to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to discover the remains of the ancient Roman city.

Finally, you will arrive in Fez, the most beautiful medina in Morocco. You can explore the city by motorcycle and discover the different historical quarters, such as the Medersa Bou Inania, the Karaouiyne mosque and the tanners’ quarter. You will spend the night in one of the most beautiful riads of Morocco, such as the Medina Palace or the Sarhai, and will be able to taste the best Moroccan cuisine.

This day’s Royal Enfield tour will take you approximately 240 km through the Moroccan countryside, while discovering the history and culture of Meknes and Volubilis, before immersing you in the beauty and atmosphere of the medina of Fez.

Day 5: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt (250 km)

On this fifth day of the Royal Enfield raid, you will drive to Ifrane, a small town located in the Atlas Mountains. With its European architecture and cool climate, Ifrane is a popular destination for nature lovers and winter sports enthusiasts.

After your visit to Ifrane, you will continue your journey to Midelt, a town located at the foot of the Middle Atlas Mountains. This town is known for its apple production and for being an important stop on the road that connects the Sahara to the Fez region

You will spend the night at the Hotel Taddart, a comfortable hotel with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. You can relax after a day on the road, enjoy the hotel’s facilities, and savor the local cuisine.

All in all, this fifth day will take you about 250 km through the mountains of Morocco, with stops in Ifrane and Midelt to discover stunning natural landscapes and charming towns.

Day 6: Midelt – Merzouga (280 km)

You will leave Midelt early in the morning for an exciting adventure through the mountains and desert landscapes to the town of Merzouga, located at the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

Along the way, you will pass through breathtaking scenery, including the Ziz Gorge, a spectacular expanse of steep canyons and barren desert landscapes. You will also see lush green oases, traditional Berber villages and palm-lined valleys.

Once in Merzouga, you will leave the motorcycles and board 4×4 and camels to reach one of the most beautiful camps in the Sahara. Once settled, you will enjoy the unique and authentic experience of life in the desert, admiring the golden sand dunes under a breathtaking starry sky.

You will spend the night in Madu Luxury Camp, a luxury camp located in the middle of the sand dunes. Enjoy a delicious dinner of local dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients. Day 7 (240 km): Merzouga – Todgha Gorges – Dades Gorges.

After leaving the desert in 4×4, you will take the road in Royal Enfield towards the Todgha Gorges, where you can admire the sunrise over the desert. Then, you will leave in direction of the Todgha Gorges, an impressive canyon of 300 meters high dug by the Todgha river. On the way, you will see breathtaking landscapes, with mountains, oases and traditional Berber villages.

Once you arrive at the Todgha Gorges, you can walk through the canyon and admire its reddish limestone cliffs, before continuing your journey to the Dades Gorges. This panoramic road offers a breathtaking view of the mountain and desert landscapes, with amazing rock formations, green oases and traditional Berber villages.

At the end of the day, you will arrive at the Dades Gorges, another spectacular canyon offering incredible views. You will spend the night at the Xaluca, a charming hotel located in the Dades Mountains, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and a peaceful setting to rest after a day rich in discoveries.

Day 8: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou (236 km)

After a restful night at the Xaluca hotel, you will get on your Royal Enfield and take the road towards Ouarzazate, a Berber city nicknamed the « gateway to the desert ». You will ride through the spectacular scenery of the High Atlas, where snow-capped mountains contrast with the red rock formations of the desert.

Once in Ouarzazate, you can visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, an outstanding example of the traditional architecture of the region, as well as the famous Atlas film studio, which has been used as a set for many Hollywood movies. After a lunch break in a local restaurant, you will drive to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Upon arrival, you can begin exploring this lively and fascinating city. Stroll through the narrow streets of the medina, visit the colorful and fragrant souks, admire the lush palaces and gardens, and soak up the vibrant and electric atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna Square. Day 10: Free day in Marrakech (no motorcycle travel)

Today you have the day off to explore the city of Marrakech at your leisure. You can visit the city’s must-see sites, such as the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Majorelle Gardens and the Bahia Palace, accompanied by a local guide if you wish. You can also stroll through the colorful souks of the medina and discover the culinary specialties of the region.

After breakfast, you will leave Marrakech for another day of motorcycling to the charming coastal town of Oualidia, located about 155 km from Marrakech. The road is an experience in itself, with varied landscapes and beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean.
